Paralegal | Motion Picture Association

For the Motion Picture Association, I am looking for a Paralegal with internet/film industry affinity. Fluent in English and Dutch.

The Motion Picture Association is an American trade association representing and defending the interests of the five major U.S. film studios, as well as the video streaming service Netflix. It promotes and protects the intellectual property rights of its members and conducts public awareness programs around the world to highlight the importance of content protection.

Working within the EMEA Legal Department, you will provide administrative support to the team by being responsible for the following tasks:

• Managing the MPA legal team's filing system (as well as overseeing and maintaining it)
• Setting up and managing the sharepoint site
• Assisting with internal and external reporting
• Contacting and managing external suppliers
• Administering and requesting powers of attorney from MPA studios
• Monitoring contracts
• Managing rights to studio film titles

• You have a legal background (preferably)
• You are willing to work in a legal support role
• You have an affinity for the internet and the film industry
• You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
• You have the highest level of work ethic and integrity
• You are a good communicator
• You have excellent writing skills
• You are positive, hands-on, proactive and flexible
• You are fluent in English and Dutch
